1) Why should I get my carpet professionally cleaned?
While daily vacuuming is the most important cleaning activity, deep extraction cleaning must be performed to remove stubborn or embedded soil. The Carpet and Rug Institute recommends that carpet be cleaned a minimum of every 12 to 18 months before it shows soiling. •  Removes harmful allergens, bacteria, and soil. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (www.epa.gov), common biological contaminants include mold; dust mites; pet dander; droppings and body parts from cockroaches, rodents, and other pests or insects; viruses; and bacteria. Many of these contaminants are small enough to be inhaled. Draperies, beddings, carpet, and other areas where dust collects may accumulate biological contaminants.

•  Is recommended or required by major manufacturers’ carpet warranties. Carpet manufacturers’ recommend professional carpet cleaning at least every 12-18 months  even if they don’t “look” dirty. In fact, most carpet manufacturers require regular, professional carpet cleaning to validate your carpet’s warranty. 2) How often should I clean my carpet?
Carpet manufacturers recommend regular cleaning by an IICRC professional every 12-18 months. Homes with pets, children and high traffic generally require more frequent cleaning. Regular cleaning reduces the number of air pollutants that contribute to allergies

3) What does it mean that QCare is an IICRC Certified Firm?
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is the foremost authority in certification and standard setting for the cleaning, restoration and inspection industry.  Organized in 1972, the IICRC currently represents more than 4,400 Certified Firms and more than 41,000 Certified Technicians in 30 countries.  With participation from the entire industry, the IICRC sets the standards for inspection, cleaning, and disaster restoration.  Consumers have assurance that when they hire IICRC-Certified Firms or technicians, that the quality and standards of the work they receive will be completed in accordance with the industry’s highest “standard of care.”

4) How quickly can you respond to accidental spills?
We can respond to accidental spills covered by our One-Year Accidental Spill Warranty within a couple of days. Our dedicated warranty vehicle is regularly available to ensure all spills are cleaned in a timely fashion. The quicker spills are addressed, the more success we have in removing them. We also give each customer a free bottle of our private label commercial stain remover— Spot Out. It is a very low-residue, neutral PH cleaner that is gentle on carpet yet powerful enough to remove even really tough stains. Simply follow the instructions on the bottle if you have a spill and if you cannot remove the stain with immediate action using the Spot Out we provide you, then call QCare within 48 hours of the spill to set up an appointment to have our warranty service van come remove the stain for you.

5) Are pet accidents covered by your One-Year Accidental Spill Warranty?
NO.  Our FREE warranty that comes with the purchase of 3M Scotchgard™ treatment only covers food and beverage spills. Pet accidents can be very tricky to remove and take special procedures to treat. It would also be nearly impossible to keep up with the demand for pet accidents once they begin in a home. We do, however, try to work with each customer in emergency spill and accident situations to get someone out quickly to have the best chance of removing the substance. Call QCare immediately if you have a spill that you cannot remove with the complimentary bottle of Spot Out that was given to you on your last service visit.

6) Why does QCare use ONLY 100% Green, plant-based cleaning solutions?
We wanted to use the safest, most environmentaly friendly solutions available.  We also needed to ensure that we produced the best cleaning results available in the market.  After a three month test in our training lab of all the major products available, we found a combination of 100% Green,  plant-based solutions, that actually outperformed the previous solutions we used.  The decision was easy!

7) How does your referral program work?
Each time you refer new business to QCare you will be sent a QCare gift certificate for $25 good toward any QCare service. Your friend or family member just has to mention your name when scheduling their first appointment and you will automatically be mailed your gift certificate after the completion of their appointment. Gift certificates are printed and mailed out monthly.
